2026-27 CUIAA Metro ATL Chapter Scholarship Open for Applications
As a CUIAA chapter, we are charged with helping our young people build a better tomorrow. One important way that we do this is through scholarships. As of March 6, 2025, our annual scholarship deadline is set for Juneteenth each year. This scholarship supports deserving Claflinites and incoming Claflin freshmen from the Metro-Atlanta area. We encourage everyone who meet the criterion to apply who can benefit from this opportunity. Anyone interested in applying for the 2026-2027 school term should from October 1, 2025-June 19, 2026.

We're proud to announce our 1869 Raffle fundraising event. The drawing will be held during our March 2026 chapter meeting. We look forward to seeing everyone there to support our first fundraiser of the session.

Attention alumni! Chapter dues are now due, and paying them is essential for the continued success of our alumni network. These funds help fund events, support scholarships, chapter operating costs, and ensure that we can stay connected as a community. Participants & Volunteers Needed -📝 The Goal & The Rules
To ensure Claflin University receives its full portion of the scholarship funds, we must meet the following community milestones. We need YOU to help us cross the finish line!
- The Power of 15: We need a minimum of 15 registered participants (in-person or virtual) to qualify for scholarship distributions. Every registration counts!
- The Volunteer Squad: We can’t do this without a helping hand! Our chapter is required to provide 6–8 volunteers to assist with:
- Pre-Race Packet Pick-up: Helping runners get their gear.
- Race Day Support: Assisting with check-in and course cheering on June 27th.
More info on how to sign up to be a volunteer is forthcoming. Be on the lookout for info in the near future.
