As a CUIAA chapter, we are charged with helping our young people build a better tomorrow. One important way that we do this is through scholarships. As of March 6, 2025, our annual scholarship deadline is set for Juneteenth each year. This scholarship supports deserving Claflinites and incoming Claflin freshmen from the Metro-Atlanta area. We encourage everyone who meet the criterion to apply who can benefit from this opportunity. Anyone interested in applying for the 2026-2027 school term should from October 1, 2025-June 19, 2026.
Attention alumni! Chapter dues are now due, and paying them is essential for the continued success of our alumni network. These funds help fund events, support scholarships, chapter operating costs, and ensure that we can stay connected as a community. By paying your dues, you are contributing to maintaining the chapter's activities and opportunities for engagement with both prospective Claflinites, students and alumni alike. Your participation ensures that our alumni chapter remains strong, vibrant, and able to offer valuable resources to everyone involved. Thank you for your support!
Our Atlanta-area undergrads are working hard this semester, and now it’s time to show them some love! We’re collecting donations to purchase gift cards for these amazing students as a small token of encouragement. Gift cards will be distributed on Saturday, November 22, 2025, on a first come, first serve basis. Every contribution helps us reach more students and remind them that their alumni family is cheering them on!

It is with great excitement that I share details about one of our signature events taking place during homecoming, the 2025 Outstanding Leaders Under 40 Awards. During this annual event, we are excited to celebrate the extraordinary young alumni who are blazing trails in their professions and communities.
When: Thursday, November 20, 2025
Where: Claflin University's Ballroom
Red Carpet Begins: 6:00pm
Awards Ceremony Begins: 7:00pm
This signature event is not only a celebration of leadership but also a fundraising initiative that directly supports scholarships and the advancement of our alma mater. We would be honored to have the support of each CUIAA chapter in making this year’s events a success.
